Here we go – first it was Mike Johnson, an Evangelical, rising to the position of Speaker of the House. This is the guy who said he and his 17-year old son monitor each other’s porn viewing (The New Republic, 11/6/2023) What?????
Maybe he’s your kind of Christian, but he ain’t mine. I can’t seem to remember Joseph and his son, Jesus, going down to a Bethlehem brothel and making sure they don’t watch to much action. I think even Mary Magdelene frowned on that.
Now it’s the Ten Commandments in Louisiana and Bible study in Oklahoma.
